Across the town, eight planning applications were validated last week, meaning the council had checked they were complete and included all relevant supporting information.
They include changes to the former Telephone Exchange and to plans to erect 200 homes on the site of the former Bispham High School among other applications.

Application validated on May 6 to display 9 vinyls to windows of both elevations
3. Flat 1b, 10 Windsor Avenue, Blackpool FY4 1HN
Application validated on May 7 for use of basement as 1 self-contained permanent flat (Certificate of Lawfulness Existing).
4. Former Telephone Exchange, Edward Street, Blackpool FY1 1DA
Application validated on May 7 for replacement of 3No antennas at 26.2m height onto proposed 2.5m long poles and relocation of 3No existing antennas onto proposed 2.5m long poles. The installation of 1No GPS node at 18m height on existing support pole and the installation of steelwork and ancillary equipment including radios (ERS) and breakout boxes (BoBs).
5. 46 Winsford Crescent, Blackpool, FY5 1PT
Application validated on May 7 for erection of a single storey rear extension.
6. 45 South Park Drive, Blackpool FY3 9PX
Application validated on May 7 for the widening of vehicular access to South Park Drive
