Blackpool Illuminations 2020: Highlights from Blackpool Switch On first ever virtual event

In a historic moment for Blackpool's world famous Light display, 2020's Switch On event filmed from the heart of the resort beamed into tens of thousands of homes across the globe.

The big moment of the night reserved for the heroes of the year, a tribute to the nation's keyworkers with seven 'Corona Heroes' on hand to pull the famous switch.
