Bigger new Fleetwood store for Heron Foods - nextdoor to current one

And the new one is very close to the old one - it's nextdoor.

The new store will open at 155-161 Lord Street, at the Carleton Court site, on Thursday, April 22.

As well as securing the seven existing jobs at the store, the extension has created eight new part-time sales assistant positions.

On opening day, the store will be offering a scratchcard-style giveaway to the first 250 customers with top prizes worth £50 to be found, and other prizes including £5 vouchers, product vouchers, and £1 off £10 spend coupons.

Although all of the positions have been filled for this store, job seekers are encouraged to visit Heron Foods’ dedicated careers website at careers.heronfoods.com for all of the company’s latest vacancies.

On opening day the store will be offering various giveaways to customers.

Store manager, Claire Verren, who started with the firm as a part-time sales assistant over eight years ago, said: “We are building on our existing reputation in the area and improving our offering to customers with an expanded grocery range.

“We look forward to welcoming new and existing customers when we reopen on Thursday 22 April.”

Heron Foods – Lord Street will be open Monday to Saturday: 8 am to 7 pm, and Sunday: 10 am to 4 pm.

The larger store will offer new and extended ranges of products and deals.

The current Fleetwood store is at 163 Lord Street.
