Ravenous zombies from Zack Synder's new fast-paced thriller, The Army of the Dead, invaded Blackpool Promenade today. Luckily for passers-by, they had cravings for something sweeter than brains.
Soldiers from the Army of the Dead arrived on Blackpool Promenade today following the installation of a huge interactive art piece celebrating the release of the zombie flick on Netflix.
The mural was set up by Blackpool graffiti artists Christian Fenn, aka SECA One, and Graham Morriss on the Comedy Carpet yesterday.
The installation will remain outside the Blackpool Tower all weekend, emitting plumes of smoke and unsettling sounds of the undead lurking inside.
A few passers-by enjoying the sunshine were brave enough to grab an ice cream from the sweet-toothed zombies, which aren't quite as scary as their movie counterparts.
