From the bustling Promenade to the tranquil, flower-filled Stanley Park, here are just some of Blackpool’s best assets – as decided by you.
7. The Irish Sea
"I love the prom, the sea is lovely and well kept compared to some other seaside places in the UK. If you go to the beach house it really feels like you’re on holiday."

8. The Pleasure Beach
"My grandmother ran a guest house in the 50s and 60s and the same people came two or three times a year, always booked the fantastic summer show on the piers... they loved Stanley Park and the Tower. Some came from Sheffield and always said how lucky we were to live in such a fantastic town. My husband Pete was in a band in the 60s and 70s and played at The Horseshoe bar for years; we had some fantastic evenings - and you can't beat The Pleasure Beach."

9. Grange Park and its community spirit
"I love Grange Park, the area as a whole isn’t perfect as there could be more, for example shops and community bases (including a post office). My neighbours are amazing and everyone looks out for each other."
