One person treated by paramedics after fire breaks out at Blackpool home

Emergency services rushed to reports a fire had broken out inside a domestic property in Victory Road today (February 27).

Two fire engines from Blackpool were sent to the scene at around 7.45am.

Firefighters equipped with two breathing apparatus used one hose reel and a positive pressure ventilation unit to extinguish the flames.

One person suffered smoke inhalation and was given first aid treatment by firefighters at the scene.

Crews were in attendance for approximately four hours.
