On the run for two years after court no-show

Lee Trask, 36, went on the run after failing to turn up for a court hearing back in 2013.

Following his courtroom no-show, two warrants were issued for his arrest on separate dates in August 2013.

He was originally accused of stealing five items of men’s clothing worth £445 from a shop in Lytham.

However, the 36-year-old did not turn up to court and his name was placed on the wanted list.

Police, who say his last known address was in the resort, have now released a photo of Trask in a bid to track him down.

He is described as 5ft 11ins tall and has dark coloured hair.

A Lancashire Police spokesman said: “Trask is wanted on warrant for failing to attend Blackpool Magistrates Court after he was charged with theft.

“Two warrants were issued for his arrest, on August 1, 2013, and then on August 22, 2013.

“He was due in court in relation to the theft of five items of men’s clothing, worth £445, in Lytham in May 2013.”

Police are urging anyone who sees Trask, or knows where he is staying, to get in touch.
