The RSPB is encouraging people to get involved in the Big Garden Birdwatch survey this coming Saturday and Sunday.
Children made bird feeders and binoculars at an event at the RSPB Discovery Centre, by Fairhaven Lake, in St Annes yesterday and took part in crafts and demonstrations.

Hide AdCentre manager Ruth Fraser said: “It is very important for people to get involved.
“Everyone’s own little survey goes towards a national picture.
“Since the survey began it’s enabled conservationists to highlight issues like loss of habitats.”
