Nursery treasurer accused of £40,000 theft
The treasurer of a children's day nursery has appeared in court charged with stealing £41,479 from its funds.
Katrina Williams, 44, is said to have stolen cash and cheques over a five year period from the Sacred Heart Pre School Nursery on Heys Street,Thornton.
Williams, of Alconbury Avenue, Cleveleys, did not enter a plea. She was granted unconditional bail until she appears at crown court on March 2.
