Nursery group to create 20 new jobs
Learning Curve Nursery Group is to open new premises at Lytham Road in Blackpool.
The 54-place nursery will be the Lytham-based group’s fourth, joining others at Clifton Lodge and Shepherd Lodge, in St Annes, and Bluebell Lodge in Blackpool.

The nurseries offer childcare and education for children from birth to five years old, including extracurricular activities such as music, French and dance.
The property will now undergo a full refurbishment before opening in the autumn.
Owners Helen and Simon Turpie are expecting the nursery to create 20 full-time jobs.

Hide AdSimon said: “We have been looking for some time for a suitable property, and our second nursery in Blackpool further expands the business into a busy area. I’ve no doubt this will be the latest stage of expansion plans we will continue in the future.
“It has often proven difficult to find appropriate premises which would be suitable for use as a nursery, and which would gain planning permission.
“Once refurbishment work is complete, we are looking forward to welcoming children, and it’s an added bonus we will be recruiting 20 new staff members.”
Martin Long, of Napthens, said: “Since Helen and Simon opened their first nursery more than 10 years ago, they have built the Learning Curve brand into a highly-respected one in the area.”
