New care home opening creates 100 Fylde coast jobs

Around 100 jobs have been created with the completion of a £12.5m new care home on the Fylde Coast.

Building contractor McGoff Construction has now completed the build and fit-out of The Hamptons, a 76 bed ‘new generation’ care facility on Heyhouse Lane,St Annes.

The company said it followed an intense 60 week build programme.

The 3,800 sq m, purpose-built care centre features a hair and nail salon, coffee shop, communal lounges, formal dining rooms and landscaped gardens.

It will be operated by New Care, which is also part of the McGoff Group.

The home has been recruiting for a range of roles including medical, hospitality and administrative roles as well as hairstylists and beauty therapists.

Operations Director, Declan McGoff they had already recruited the manager and core team and were looking at the second phase as the opening day approaches this week.

New Care is rapidly growing development-led care home operator, with The Hamptons the second new North West care facility to open this year. A further three care homes are scheduled to open in the next 12-18 months.
