Music festival set to move to new Blackpool location in 2027 after outgrowing its previous home
“You can expect the same uncompromising atmosphere and cool vibes, just with far more room in the shadows”
A popular Blackpool music festival is moving to a new location next year after outgrowing the venue which has been its home since 2023.
The Boneyard Weekender brings together acts specialising in psychobilly, goth, industrial, rock ‘n’ roll and big beat.
It was created three years ago by former member of the band Alien Sex Fiend, Andrew ‘Ratty’ Wilson, and up to now has been staged at The Waterloo music bar in South Shore.

But Andrew says the 2027 event will take place at the Norbreck Castle hotel, offering on-site accommodation and ample parking.
“The Norbreck Castle is steeped in rock ‘n’ roll history,” said Andrew. “Ozzy Osbourne performed his first ever solo show there back in the early 80s, also acts like The Stray Cats, Adam and the Ants, The Selectors and many other acts have performed there.
“Some fantastic acts are already confirmed for our festival next year and we are awaiting on some big headliners in the coming weeks.
“We will also have vendors selling all things creepy and horror related and you can expect the same uncompromising atmosphere and cool vibes, just with far more room in the shadows.”
The festival will take place at the Norbreck Castle on August 27, 28 and 29, 2027 and details of tickets, including early bird deals, are at www.ticketsource.com/songs-of-the-boneyard/boneyard-weekender-2027-early-bird-ticket-at-norbreck-castle-blackpool/e-yrxyrg
