MURDER PROBE: Man had '˜unknown physical injuries'

A man found dead inside a resort flat suffered '˜unknown physical injuries', police said this afternoon.

The 31-year-old’s body was found after somebody in the block of flats, in Caunce Street, central Blackpool, called 999 at 10pm yesterday.

A post-mortem examination is due to take place today or tomorrow, a spokesman for Lancashire Police said, which detectives hope will offer a definitive cause of death.

Ten people, three women and seven men, aged between 37 and 60, have been arrested on suspicion of murder and remain in custody.
