Work continues to advance on the circa 102,400 sq ft (gross internal area) Multiversity campus, which will bring 3,000 students, apprentices and staff into the town centre when it opens in September 2028.

The college says in a social media post: “The survey is an important step to help understand what people think about the project, what information you would like to know more about, and how the college can best share the opportunities Multiversity will create for learners, employers and the wider community.

“When complete in September 2028, the Multiversity will bring around 3,000 students and staff into the town centre, creating a vibrant new hub for learning, skills and opportunity.

“The landmark new town-centre campus will support a new approach to higher education, helping more people access learning, skills and career opportunities in the heart of Blackpool.”

The survey comes as the Multiversity’s live construction site is to be used to help people understand what construction means today.

Morgan Sindall Construction, the firm behind the new landscape changing development in Blackpool town centre, has revealed it is bringing its award-winning Knowledge Quad to the resort.

The Knowledge Quad is a multi-purpose training and learning facility located within a live Morgan Sindall Construction site. It delivers social value by focusing on skills, education, employment and discovery.
