Since then, the restaurant has had several makeovers, and a name change to Bistro Italia, but retains it’s popularity with impressive reviews on Tripadvisor and Google Reviews. So much so, it’s just won a Tripadvisor Travellers Choice Award, with guests naming it among the top 10 per cent of all restaurants in the world.
Family members, friends and loyal customers revelled in the food and danced the night away to live music from House of Sax. Professional magician Harry Moulding also mingled with the crowd and wowed guests with his skills.

Pasquale’s wife Sonya said: “Pasquale gave an emotional speech, after sadly losing his own Papa recently. He told guests the party was nearly cancelled, but with the support from me, his management team, niece and manager Louise D’Ambrosio and step daughter and bar manager Isabella Moore, the family was able to pull off a fabulous celebration.” Although son Luca couldn't share the occasion due to university commitments, Pasquale acknowledged the importance of his family support with Gina, Cam and Isabella all having worked at the restaurant. He thanked Chef Endrit who has been with Pasquale for 15 years and all the staff for their hard work and customers for the loyal support over the years.
The family donated a large luxury bottle of Bottega Prosecco as a raffle prize which raised £270. Winner Michael Colemen was delighted with the prize which he intends to enjoy with his family on Christmas day. Michael wanted the funds raised from the raffle to support a local charity and choose Trinty Hospice and Brian House.
