Man 'tried to punch woman in racist attack' on Prom

A man pushed a woman and tried to punch another in a racially-motivated attack in Blackpool, police said.

The incident took place at 7.15pm near the Metropole Hotel on Blackpool Promenade on July 8.

A police spokesman said: "A woman was out with family and friends when a man shouted racist abuse at her. He then tried to punch her and pushed another woman she was with."

Police want to identify a man, pictured, in connection with the crime.
