Man found dead behind hotel in Blackpool town centre
Emergency services were called to Blackpool town centre yesterday after a man was found dead in what police say were non-suspicious circumstances.
Police officers, an ambulance and two rapid response vehicles were called to the rear of a hotel on Hornby Road at around 4pm yesterday.
A witness reported a strong police presence, and part of the alley was closed off.
A police spokesman said they had been called to a 'sudden, non-suspicious' death.
Paramedics attended, but the man was pronounced dead at the scene and was not taken to hospital.
