Man faces child sex images trial

A Lancashire man has been sent for trial after being charged with possessing and distributing child sex images.

Adam Carling, 27, of Ridley Road, Ashton, Preston, will appear at Preston Crown Court on March 16.

He was committed for trial at the higher court by District Judge David Scanlon sitting at Blackpool Magistrates Court.

Carling’s offences are alleged to have taken place in Fleetwood in 2014 and 2015.

He is charged with possessing indecent images of children and making indecent images of children. He is further charged with distributing the images and possessing extreme pornography.

The terms of his bail forbids Carling having any unsupervised contact with children aged 16 and below.
