Man in court over knife attack charge
Andrew Tuley, 43, of Draycot Avenue, Grange Park, Blackpool, is accused of the attempted murder of the 47-year-old woman.
Tuley is also charged with threatening the woman with a kitchen knife.

Hide AdThe offences are alleged to have taken place on January 3 when the alleged victim was found covered in blood from stab wounds to her face and body, in a garden next to her own home on Dinmore Avenue, Grange Park, by a neighbour.
Tuley, who was flanked in the secure dock by two security officers, spoke only to confirm his name, age and address during the three-minute court hearing.
Pam Smith, prosecuting, asked for the case to be sent to crown court.
Daniel Harman, defending, did not ask for bail for his client.

Hide AdTuley was remanded in custody to appear at Preston Crown Court on January 7 by District Judge Jeff Brailsford sitting at Blackpool Magistrates’ Court.
Police had been called to Dinmore Avenue at around 1am on Saturday following reports that a woman had allegedly been stabbed.
Neighbours nearby told of their shock as ambulance crews and police officers arrived at the scene and set up crime investigation tents.
Police are continuing to appeal for information about the alleged incident.
