Man, 26, cleared of indecent exposure

A MAN has been cleared of indecently exposing himself to children.

John Clements had been accused of indecently exposing himself to six girls aged between 12 and 16.

The jury in the case of John Clements, 27, of Bloomfield Road, Blackpool, was directed by the trial judge to return a verdict of not guilty at Preston Crown Court on October 16, 2013.

At an earlier hearing, at Blackpool Magistrates' Court in April, he had been accused of offences relating to two separate alleged incidents in Blackpool on December 2 and 3, 2012.

He had faced eight charges, four of indecent exposure and four charges of engaging in sexual activity in front of a child. He did not enter a plea when he appeared before magistrates but was later cleared at crown court.
