Lancashire's biggest-ever Easter egg hunt launches with 50 prizes hidden across county

An Easter egg hunt described as the biggest ever in Lancashire is set to get underway next week, with prizes including event tickets, overnight stays and smart speakers up for grabs.

BBC Radio Lancashire is launching “Graham’s Golden Eggs”, which will see 50 golden eggs hidden across the county from Monday (March 30).

The eggs will be spread across every Lancashire borough, giving residents the chance to explore different areas while taking part in the hunt.

Each golden egg will contain a unique code, which can be redeemed on the BBC Radio Lancashire Breakfast Show in exchange for a prize.

Rewards on offer include smart speakers, tickets to gigs and events across Lancashire, overnight stays and locally produced goods.

BBC Radio Lancashire presenter Graham Liver said: “I’m so excited that we’re doing this. Nothing on this scale has ever been done before - there’ll be eggs in each and every part of our beautiful county.

“It’s a great way to get out and explore Lancashire with friends and family over Easter and you could win a fantastic prize!”

The hunt begins on Monday, with more details and full terms and conditions available on the BBC Radio Lancashire website.
