“We’d like to thank the fellowship for taking the time to knit the snowmen and clothes. We really appreciate what they have done.”

The Neonatal Unit cares for any baby born early or with a medical condition for as long as he or she needs to stay in hospital.

Sylvia Bagot, fellowship secretary, said: “We would be pleased to welcome new members to our group who are about to retire or have retired from the NHS.”

The fellowship meets at 1.30pm on the third Tuesday of the month at St Martin’s and St Hilda’s Church Hall in Carleton.
