Around £500 was raised for the Firefighters’ Charity as hundreds of people of all ages flocked to the station on St Andrew’s Road North to enjoy a host of attractions.

As well as family features such as a bouncy castle, the event included demonstrations of rescue and traffic accidents, while there was the opportunity to see vehicles and equipment close up.
