Police are appealing for information after raiders stole jewellery worth over £5,000 from a house in Whalley.

Burglars removed a window before making their way into the house at The Sands. The made a search of the premises before escaping with watches, rings, necklaces and cash to the value of £5,300. Insp. Hassan Khan, of Clitheroe Police, is investigating the incident. He said: “We would appeal to anyone with information regarding the break-in or the whereabouts of the stolen jewellery to call police on 101.”
