Blackpool’s own Nikki Sanderson and partner Anthony Quinlan have shared a snapshot into their lives as new parents through OK! in Instagram
The 41-year-old actress, best known for playing Candice Stow on Coronation Street (1995-2005) and Maxine Minniver on Hollyoaks (2012-2025) gave birth to their baby boy in April and on Instagram they shared those early thoughts his future.
In a cute fun game of a baby themed ‘most likely to’, they spoke about who would be most likely to cry at his first word.
The couple affectionately pointed to each other and said ‘we will probably cry at everything.’
Anthony then replied: “I wasn’t going to cry when he was born and there was that amazing moment where they raised him like Lion King and he was beautiful! I was crying, bawling my eyes out.
The next question was who’s most likely to be his personal trainer. Nikki pointed to Anthony but then they both spoke about how fit Nikki was and how she took part in a fitness competition when she was pregnant.

“I couldn’t understand why I was so tired, I was saying how I didn’t feel very well - fast forward and I was pregnant,” she said.
On who would be most likely to be the one practicing lines with him for the school play - they said ‘both, definitely’.
Nikki added: “If he wants to do acting or says he wants to be in the school play it would be brilliant. He will have all the opportunities in the world and we will fully support it.”
“And as for having two parents as actors, then if he’s anything like us, that might be a platform,” said Anthony.
“A little entertainer - we will see” added Nikki.
