Hundreds jumped aboard for Vintage Vehicle Rally

Hundreds of people descended on the annual Blackpool Steam and Vintage Vehicle Rally in Blackpool.

Around 1,500 people attended the event on Saturday, and a further 1,000 went to the event on South Car Park on Sunday.

Organiser Dave Hall said: “We had 18 full-size steamers this year and we did two road runs, with fireworks going off when we did one of them.”

The rally included a traditional fun fair, trade stands including children’s games, a craft tent with a large selection of home made items, and a beer tent open all day with entertainment.

The exhibits were classifified in 12 categories, including bicycles, motorbikes, tractors and full-size steam engines.
