Has Roy Hodgson's lookalike fish been spotted in Lancashire?

The centre already has a Rooney, Vardy and Milner, the three nicknamed lion fish, who regularly have a fin-about in their St George’s flag adorned tank but the trio probably didn’t expect to bump into their England boss.
Lurking at the bottom of Blackpool’s Sea Life Aquarium, on the Promenade, the Roy Hodgson lookalike - a beady eyed moray eel - has been making sure they’re up to speed in preparation ahead of Monday’s crunch last 16 tie against Iceland.

Hide AdAnd Sea Life Aquarist and avid football fan, Mike Bond, said: “I walk past the wolf eel every day and have got to know his characteristics more over the years. It wasn’t until I’ve been seeing Hodgson more and more with the Euro’s that it suddenly clicked.

“There’s a resting resemblance but it really is funny when you catch him off guard pulling ‘Roy’ faces too.
“I think they’re just uncanny. Not only do they have the same face but he bosses the other fish around, in true manager style.
“And that’s when we knew, we had to rename him, Roy.”
