Gogglebox star Scarlett Moffatt enjoys ‘last little adventure’ in Blackpool before baby arrives
“Baby boy… we’re nearly ready for you.”
Television personality Scarlett Moffatt has shared a glimpse of her recent family trip to Blackpool, describing it as her “one last little adventure” before the arrival of her second child.
The former Gogglebox star and I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! winner visited the seaside resort with her partner Scott Dobinson, their son Jude, her mother and some of her closest friends ahead of the birth of their second baby.
Sharing a string of photographs with fans on Instagram on Bank Holiday Monday (August 31), Scarlett revealed how the family “basically did Blackpool properly” during their weekend away.
The trip included ice cream in the rain, a visit to see the Gruffalo and time spent in Blackpool’s arcades, where the family won a giant neon sloth on the donkey derby. Scarlett also visited Madame Tussauds Blackpool, where she soaked up the Strictly magic following her Christmas show win last year.
The family also headed to the iconic Blackpool Opera House to see Jane McDonald, with Scarlett joking that the occasion became her “very unofficial mini baby shower”.
Scarlett said: “One last little adventure before our new addition arrives. A weekend in Blackpool with Jude, my mam, Scott and some of my very best friends (and Jude’s godparents). We ate ice cream in the rain, met the Gruffalo, spent far too much money in the arcades, won a giant neon sloth on the donkey derby and basically did Blackpool properly.
“Then Scott took over Jude duties while we turned seeing Jane McDonald into my very unofficial mini baby shower. Honestly, what more could a heavily pregnant woman want?! Feeling very lucky, very loved and very aware that the next little trip might have two tiny boys coming along with us. Baby boy… we’re nearly ready for you.”

Scarlett and Scott announced they were expecting their second child in April, three years after the arrival of their first child together, Jude. The couple revealed the news alongside their son, who held a personalised newspaper featuring the headline: “Baby Dobinson another miracle coming soon!”
Scarlett rose to fame as one of the stars of Channel 4’s Gogglebox before going on to win I’m A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!. She has since become a familiar face on television as a presenter and personality, while continuing to share aspects of her family life with her social media followers.
Her latest Blackpool visit came as she prepares to welcome her second son, with the seaside weekend providing what she described as a final family adventure before the new arrival.
