‘Give us your old Christmas tree’
Christmas is over – and residents can now get rid of their trees at five drop-off points in Fylde.
From January 2, trees can be left at St Paul’s Avenue car park, Fairhaven; Mill Street car park, Kirkham; Lowther Gardens, Lytham; North Beach car park, St Annes and Staining Village Hall, Staining.
Alternatively, real Christmas trees will be collected in the green wheeled bins on residents’ scheduled collection day. Larger trees must be chopped up and placed in the bins.
Residents can also dispose of real Christmas trees at the Household Waste Recycling centre on Saltcotes Road, Lytham.
