Get your skates on and sign up for a date with the ice king of Poulton

The Dancing On Ice and former Hot Ice star, who is from Poulton, is holding another of his popular skate schools in Cleveleys, on Sunday July 12.

He will be joined by former Dancing On Ice judge Karen Barber.

The pair will run the masterclass session, for all levels, abilities and ages – including those who have never skated before – between 1pm and 3pm, at Cleveleys Ice Arena.

Dan has been running regular skate schools for nearly two years. They proved so popular, he ended up expanding them outside the Fylde coast and taking them up and down the country.

The two-hour long class offers a warm-up off the ice, a skating session with the stars and an autograph-signing session. Dan said: “The skate school is designed for everyone, all abilities.

“It’s something all the family can do.

“It’s good exercise and it’s great fun. I always look forward to them.”

Dan also teaches regular Zumba fitness classes at various venues across the Fylde coast, which have proved a big hit. Places for the ice masterclass are expected to fill up fast, so booking is essential.
