Fylde shoppers snap up daffodils galore to raise cash for charity

Marie Curie fund-raisers sold daffodils in St Annes

Kind-hearted shoppers dug deep into their pockets to raise more than Â£1,200 for Marie Curie.

Marie Curie volunteers have thanked the Marks and Spencer customers who raised £510 and St Annes Booth customers who raised £720.

Lytham St Annes Marie Curie volunteers ran out of daffodils they were selling at the stores the last couple of weekends because of the generosity of the public.

Marie Curie is a charity which provides care and support for people living with any terminal illness, and their families.
