Fylde coast wildlife site hosts family photo competition

Families can find out about wildlife and take part in a photo competition at the RSPB's Discovery Centre at Fairhaven.

On February 26 weekend visitors can complete the Fairhaven Photo Trail by following clues to find ideal spots for photo opportunities.

Images can then be submitted on the RSPB website to have a chance of winning a pair of binoculars.

Claire Critchley, who works at the centre, said: “We live in a digital age like no other and while sometimes this takes away our free time in nature, our photo trail is the perfect opportunity to keep the whole family happy and combine the two.

“The Fylde has some amazing wildlife and stunning landscapes which we want to share with people up and down the country.”
