Fylde coast man must shop with his mum

Lee Metcalfe, 40, of Victoria Road East, Thornton, and Karl Broadhead, who appeared at court over the video link, 35, of Devonshire Road, Bispham, each pleaded not guilty to theft.

They are alleged to have stolen the car from the Iceland car park, Fleetwood, on June 29 this year.

Blackpool magistrates adjourned the case for trial on August 18.

Metcalfe was bailed on the condition he did not enter any stores unless his mother accompanied him and Broadhead was remanded in custody.
