Just 18 months ago, Dominic walked through the doors of Blackpool Vic and rang the bell surrounded by family and friends to signify that he had beaten cancer. He pulled his football boots back on and rejoined St Annes Purples U-12s. He even joined CN Sports Panthers U-12s to play more football and make up for the time he had lost away from the sport he loves.
A Purples spokesman said: "What better way to celebrate than by getting his football boots back on and returning to what he loves most. Dominic thrived. He was loving life on the pitch again, playing alongside his mates and his brother Rex. Everything was going so well - on and off the pitch - until life dealt Dominic another cruel blow.

"He received the devastating news that his cancer had returned and he would have to begin the fight all over again. Right now, Dominic is undergoing treatment and showing incredible strength every single day. He truly is a warrior."
Now St Annes FC and CN Sports have joined forces to raise money for the Brain Tumour Trust charity to fund vital research. The teams are planning a charity 37-mile cycle ride along the Fylde coast visiting Fleetwood Town's Highbury Stadium, Blackpool's Bloomfield Road, Mill Farm, home of AFC Fylde and Preston North End's Deepdale.
The spokesman added: "Deepdale is the perfect ending as Dominic is a proud Preston North End supporter."
The Brain Tumour Charity is the world's leading organisation funding research into Dominic's condition. A charity spokesperson said: "We are committed to saving and improving lives. We're moving further and faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour. A cure really can't wait."
A GoFundMe page set up in Dominic's name has already raised £1,840 from more than 90 donors. Donations can be made at justgiving.com/team/cycle-for-dominic
