Fylde animal health team make inspired list

Poulton-based animal health supplier Trilanco has made it into London Stock Exchange’s 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain report for a second consecutive year.

The report identifies and celebrates the UK’s fastest growing and most dynamic small and medium sized businesses.

To be included in the list, companies need to show consistent revenue growth over a minimum of three years and significantly outperform industry peers.

Martin Balmer, managing director of Trilanco said: “We are delighted to be recognised in this report again. 1000 Companies to Inspire Britain is a well respected list that allows small and medium businesses to receive the recognition they deserve. We’re very proud to have been identified and included.”

He said 2016 was set to be a big year for Trilanco.

The company is currently in the middle of a seven million pound relocation project that will see it move to a new, bigger, purpose built facility at the Mill Farm development at Wesham towards the end of the year.

In addition to that, the company has recently won BETA Business Awards’ Trade Supplier of the Year Award for a third time. It has seen an annual increase in turnover of more than 40 per cent for the past two years to around £44m.

The new base is around six miles from its current site at Bracewell Avenue.

Trilanco’s new distribution centre and offices will occupy a six acre site and will boast a 110,000 square foot warehouse that will house in excess of 12,000 product lines that are stocked by the company.
