Fylde agency's quadruple success

Fire and explosion consultants, Gexcon, manufacturer for the automotive industry, Helical Technology, logistics consultants, CIF Consulting and Tastebuds café in Rufford, have appointed ICG to handle a range of design, digital and PR projects.

Simon Couchman, creative director at Warton-basd ICG, said: “We have had a brilliant start to the year, kicking off 2018 by adding four fantastic clients to our growing portfolio.

“We’re thrilled to be working with such a diverse range of companies and have got some very exciting activity in the pipeline for each of them.

“We’ve started 2018 as we mean to go on and we’re looking forward to revealing even more new clients in the coming weeks.”

The company’s recent client wins follow a very prosperous 2017 for ICG, with turnover and profit both hitting record highs. Simon explained: “2017 was our most successful year ever in terms of turnover and profit. We’ve had a strong start to 2018 and we’re hoping this signals the beginning of another record-breaking year.”

To accommodate their growing portfolio, the agency has welcomed four new recruits.

Sam Sharples has joined the design studio having previously worked as an in-house designer for a manufacturing company, and two years as a freelance designer in Spain.

Rebecca Oliver has joined the team as account manager to provide marketing support, client communication and to implement a strategy across multiple channels, for ICG’s retail and leisure clients.

There is also a new face in the PR department. Rachel Hermolle, who previously handled PR for a national restaurant chain, joins as PR manager, to work with clients including independent stockbrokers, James Sharp, Intonation, Gexcon, Avenue House School and The British International Freight Association. Bekki Hopton, joined the team as office administrator to provide support for the design, digital and PR teams.
