Free dance event with stalls an street theatre set for Cleveleys promenade this weekend

The Celebrating Cleveleys! spectacle will include live singing with a Motown theme, a barn dance along with a DJ, free face-painting and stalls.
Popular Fylde coast singer Lili De Carlo will be providing the live sounds and there will be various ‘walk about’ acts and a live band as well.

The event takes place on Saturday (September 7) from 11am to 4pm, around the Cleveleys Plaza area, the round stepped area of the prom at the top end of Rough Lea Road.
The event, described as a ‘pop-up barn dance’, has been organised by the Cleveleys Town Centre Group.

Here's the running order for the day:
11am – event opens – Lili di Carlo - live swing music 11.30am – Barn Dance street theatre at the promenade 12pm - Soul & Motown with DJ Derek Gorman 1pm – Lili di Carlo (1.30pm - Barn Dance in the town centre) 1.30pm – Soul & Motown 2.30pm – Lili di Carlo 2.45pm – Barn Dance sets off via Victoria Rd to arrive at prom 3pm 3.15pm – Soul & Motown to close
