Crowds turned out in force today as the Fleetwood Festival of Transport, better known as Tram Sunday, returned to the Lancashire town following last year's 40th anniversary celebrations.
The free, family-friendly event once again transformed Fleetwood into a showcase of transport history and engineering, with visitors enjoying displays of heritage trams, vintage cars, motorcycles, commercial vehicles, electric vehicles and replica vehicles from film and television.
First held in 1985 as part of celebrations marking an anniversary of the Blackpool tramway, Tram Sunday has grown into one of the area's best-loved annual events, attracting around 70,000 visitors each year.
Over the decades, the festival has expanded beyond its original focus on trams to celebrate all forms of transport, including classic cars, motorbikes and buses, while the town's iconic heritage trams remain at the heart of the occasion.
