While exiting the car park, customers were asked to turn left only due to the temporary closure of the road towards the roundabout.

A spokesperson from Burnside Garden Centre on Facebook, said: “We want to thank everyone for their patience over the past few weeks.

“Now that the road is open again, we’re looking forward to welcoming everyone back for a relaxed visit.”

Motorists are advised that the northbound closure ran from outside number 187 Fleetwood Road South to the Norcross Lane junction from February 14-25th.

Local access to businesses were maintained throughout.

Lancashire County Council issued a temporary traffic order affecting Fleetwood Road South in Thornton Cleveleys between number 187 and the Norcross Lane junction.

This measure was necessary to allow Cadent Gas Ltd. to safely carry out replacement works on the gas mains.

Drivers traveling along Fleetwood Road South were advised to try an alternative route during the time of the works: Via Tithebarn Street - Queensway - Breck Road - Amounderness Way and vice versa.
