Fitness fans work up a sweat for a hearty reason
A group fitness day took place at Village Urban Resort, Heron’s Reach, Blackpool, including big master classes in the world-famous Les Mills exercise programmes.
Presenters from across the UK attended, joined by local instructors, and took club members and guests through the workouts – such as Bodypump, Bodyattack, Bodycombat and RPM, in a large arena with a big stage and nightclub-style sound and lighting.

There were also Optimum Nutrition and Reebok pop-up shops, which organisers say were very busy and proved very popular.
It is expected the event raised hundreds of pounds for the British Heart Foundation, as part of National Heart Month.
Tracy Sollitt, Village national health and fitness manager, said: “It was an awesome day and the team really did me proud.
