Firefighters tackle house blaze in Fleetwood

A blaze that was engulfing a bedroom of a property in Fleetwood was battled by firefighters.

Fire crews from Fleetwood rushed to a house blaze on Lower Lune Street at around 6.43pm yesterday (August 6).

On arrival, crews found the fire was ripping through one of the bedrooms of the property.

Firefighters used four breathing apparatus and one hose reel to extinguish the flames.

A spokesman for Lancashire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Firefighters from Fleetwood were called to an incident on Lower Lune Street, Fleetwood.

"They were in attendance approximately one hour and twenty minutes and there were no casualties reported."
