Fire crews investigate trapped person in flat fire
Three fire crews were called out after hearing of a suspected casualty trapped in a ground floor flat fire.
Fire crews from Blackpool, Bispham and South Shore attended the address on Cross Street in Blackpool as four firefighters wore breathing apparatus and used a hose reel jet to bring the fire under control.
Aftering entering the building they found no casualty in the flat but one female casualty was led to safety by crews from an unaffected ground floor flat.
The woman was given precautionary checks by paramedics as crews spent approximately one hour at the scene putting out the blaze.
The incident took place yesterday at around 3pm.
