Fire crew tackles hotel laundry blaze

Firefighters extinguished a blaze in a Blackpool seafront hotel.

The fire at the Boston Hotel was reported at 4.37pm yesterday and a crew from Bispham Fire Station rushed to Queen’s Promenade.

Four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one hose to tackle the blaze, the cause of which is not yet know.

The crew used a ventilation unit to clear smoke from the property and no injuries were reported.

An investigation into the cause of the fire is ongoing.
