There will be chance to speak to people who have adopted children at a drop-in session at the Hilton Hotel in Blackpool on October 18 between 2pm and 7pm.

A drop-in event is also being held at Lancaster Holiday Inn Express on October 10 between 2pm and 7pm.

A council spokesman said: “Our exploring adoption events offer those who are considering adopting a child a chance to ask any burning questions, learn more about the adoption process and much more.

“During our National Adoption Week event you will also get an opportunity to talk to an adopter to hear about their real life experiences.”
