Fatal bridge crash driver appears in court
Michael Wilson, 27, of Albert Street, Lytham is charged with driving a Vauxhall Astra car which crashed on the town’s Skew Bridge on January 10 this year.
The woman who died was Nicola Taylor who previously ran Taylor’s cafe on Clifton Street.

Hide AdWilson is charged with causing her death while being almost being twice over the drink drive limit.
Blackpool Magistrates sent the case to Preston Crown Court.
They bailed Wilson until his appearance at the higher court on August 3.
Robert Kellock, defending Wilson, did not indicate any plea.
The family of Mrs Taylor have previously paid tribute to her, describing her as “a loving daughter and sister who was taken from us too suddenly and too soon.

Emergency services were called to the incident and road closures were put in place on the road, known as Skew Bridge as it crosses the South Fylde railway line between Bridge Road and Cambridge Road.
