Drunk driver caught after Cleveleys car chase
A drunk driver abandoned his stolen car and tried to escape from police on foot after he was ordered to pull over.
The incident happened in Cleveleys last night.
Police ordered the driver to pull over and pursued the vehicle. The driver, a male, then left the car and attempted to run away before being caught.
He was found to be drunk and had been disqualified from driving on three prior occasions. The car he was driving had also been reported stolen.
The man was arrested and the car removed from the road.
