Driver cut out of car after Clitheroe smash
Fire and rescue teams cut an injured motorist from his car after a collision blocked Whalley Road, Clitheroe, this afternoon.
They removed the roof from the damaged Honda Accord to release the driver and fasten him to a backboard, as he had suffered a neck injury.
The other vehicle, a Kia Soul, was slightly damaged.
The accident blocked the road, which is a bus route, and police diverted traffic.
