Dogs unite for Promenade walk
Dog owners in Blackpool can help fund the training of guide dogs for blind and partially sighted people by taking their own pooches for a stroll along the Promenade.
The annual Blackpool Lights sponsored dog walk, which is now in its seventh year, will take place on October 12 from 5pm until 9.30pm. The route is wheelchair accessible.
Entry is free, but walkers are asked to raise £35 each in sponsorship cash for the Guide Dogs charity.
Money raised will go towards supporting the training of new guide dogs.
