Simpkin, of Kytson Close, Layton, admitted harassing the OAP at her home.

Blackpool Magistrates heard that the daughter had been the subject of a previous non-molestation order involving her mother.

The daughter – who has a drugs problem – had been turning up at her mother’s home demanding money.

Pam Smith, prosecuting, said: “The mother did give the defendant money for her electric meter but then found out she had spent it going out and on a takeaway.

“There were several visits and the mother finally went to the police to make a complaint and officers issued a formal harassment notice.

“However, the defendant did not take any notice and turned up again shouting and banging on the victims’ door.”

Stephen Duffy, defending, said: “I am told that the mother has invited the daughter around sometimes.”

Linda Simpkin was placed on a 12-week curfew. She must also pay £100 compensation to her mother.

She was also made the subject of a two restraining order forbidding her to have any form of contact with her mother or enter the road where her mother lives.
