Wanted sex offender 'sleeping rough' in Blackpool arrested

A wanted registered sex offender who was thought to be sleeping rough in Blackpool has been found.

Steven Pinnington, from Blackpool, was wanted after breaching the registered sex offender notification requirements.

Police launched an appeal to help catch the 38-year-old yesterday (November 12), but they have since confirmed he has been found and arrested.

A spokesman for Lancashire Police said: "Steven Pinnington, from Blackpool, who was wanted on suspicion of breaching the registered sex offender notification requirements, has been located and arrested.
